Description: On Saturday December 17th, 2011 hundreds of demonstrators descended on Duarte Park in Lower Manhattan to protest Trinity Church's refusal to allow Occupy Wall Street members the use of a vacant lot the church owns adjacent to the park as an encampment. At least a dozen Episcopal clergy attended the rally to protest Trinity Church's decision and as many as 40 protesters were arrested attempting to occupy the vacant lot.
